FAQs
What are Stick n Pop vinyl panels?
Stick n Pop panels are removable, peel-and-stick vinyl designs for furniture, walls, appliances, doors, and stairs. They're made from high-quality matte vinyl that sticks firmly but peels off cleanly without damaging surfaces or leaving residue. Perfect for renters and anyone who loves to switch up their vibe!
How do I apply my vinyl panel?
It's super easy! Clean your surface with a damp cloth and let it dry completely. Peel back a small section of the backing paper, position the panel, and smooth it down with your hands or a credit card to remove air bubbles. Slowly peel away the rest of the backing as you go, smoothing as you stick. Start from the centre and work outward for the best results.
Can I reuse my panels?
While our vinyl is designed to be removable and repositionable during installation, we don't recommend peeling them off and reusing them on a different surface. The adhesive works best with a one-time application. If you need to adjust during installation, you've got a bit of wiggle room!
What surfaces can I stick them to?
Stick n Pop panels work brilliantly on smooth, clean surfaces like painted walls, wardrobes, kitchen cupboards, Ikea furniture, doors, appliances, and even stairs. They won't stick well to textured, rough, or porous surfaces like brick, concrete, or heavily textured wallpaper. Our current wall vinyl isn't suitable for high-traffic floor areas, but floor vinyl is coming soon! When in doubt, test a small corner first.
Will they damage my walls or furniture?
They shouldn't! Our vinyl is designed to peel off cleanly without leaving marks, residue, or damage when removed correctly. That said, if you're applying to freshly painted walls, wait at least 2-3 weeks for the paint to fully cure. And always remove the vinyl gently and slowly to avoid any issues.
How do I remove them?
Peel slowly from one corner, pulling at a low angle close to the surface. Go steady and the vinyl will come off clean. If you're worried, warm it slightly with a hairdryer on low heat to soften the adhesive before peeling.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer three groovy sizes to suit any project:
• Compact (60×100cm) – perfect for cupboard doors, small furniture panels, or feature sections
• Standard (60×200cm) – great for larger furniture pieces, statement walls, or appliances
• Statement (60×300cm) – go big! Ideal for full walls, wardrobe doors, or bold feature areas
How long does shipping take?
We print and ship once a week, so orders are fulfilled on a weekly batch schedule. You'll receive your panels within 7-10 business days from when your order is placed. We'll send you tracking info as soon as your order ships!
How long will it last once applied? Is it just a temporary fix?
Not even close to temporary. Our vinyl panels can last for years when you look after them properly. How long depends on the surface prep, where you stick them, and general wear and tear. In normal indoor conditions (no extreme heat, not constantly baking in direct sun), you're looking at 3-5 years easily, often longer. They're only "temporary" in the sense that you CAN remove them when you're ready for a change, not because they'll fall off or look ratty after six months. Think of them as semi-permanent decor you can swap out on your terms.
Will it fade over time?
We use high-quality inks designed to keep colours vibrant indoors. In normal indoor conditions, your panels will stay bold and beautiful for years. That said, like any printed surface, prolonged exposure to direct, strong sunlight (think south-facing windows or conservatories) can cause gradual fading over time. For best longevity, avoid sticking panels where they'll cop full sun all day, every day. And here's a bonus: we print to order, so every panel you get is freshly printed, not old stock that's been sitting around fading before it even reaches you.
Can I use self-adhesive vinyl in a bathroom or kitchen (humid areas)?
Yep, with a few smart precautions. Our vinyl is moisture-resistant, so bathrooms, kitchen splashbacks, and laundry rooms are all fair game as long as the surface is dry when you apply it. Good ventilation helps in high-humidity spots because excessive steam over long periods can weaken the adhesive. Don't put regular wall vinyl inside a shower where it's constantly soaked. For splash-prone areas (behind a sink, above a cooktop), you can seal the edges with a clear sealant once it's applied for extra protection. Bottom line: humid is fine, constantly wet is not.
Does peel and stick vinyl look cheap compared to paint or traditional wallpaper?
Not at all. Our panels have a soft matte finish, so once they're on the wall or furniture, they don't scream "sticker." They look like a professional finish. In fact, unless someone touches it, most people won't realise it's removable vinyl because it sits flat and looks polished. We're not talking about shiny, plasticky contact that peels up at the corners. This is proper decor-quality vinyl that holds its own against paint or wallpaper, with the added bonus that you can change it whenever you want without repainting or stripping anything.
Can I order custom patterns or colours?
Not just yet! Right now we're focusing on our curated collection of bold, retro-inspired designs. But watch this space – custom options might be coming down the track.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we only ship within Australia. If you're outside Aus and dying to get your hands on some Stick n Pop magic, drop us a message – we'd love to hear from you!
What's your returns policy?
Because our panels are custom-printed to order, we can't accept returns or exchanges unless the product arrives damaged or faulty. If there's an issue with your order, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll sort you out!
Can I use these in a rental?
Absolutely! That's one of the best things about Stick n Pop. Our panels are removable and won't damage walls or surfaces, making them perfect for renters who want to add personality without losing their bond. Just make sure the paint is fully cured before applying.
How do I clean my vinyl panels?
Wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers, as these can damage the matte finish. Keep it gentle and your panels will stay looking fresh!
Do you offer sample packs?
Not at the moment, but it's something we're considering! For now, check out the product photos and details to get a feel for the colours and patterns. We try to photograph everything as accurately as possible so you know exactly what you're getting.
